The Actual Text

P1-2 = From school to home, I walk to my street. But upon reading its sign, I cannot move my feet.
P3-4 = I live on monster lane and I am very afraid. Monsters can have claws that scratch and teeth that bite. But there are some times, where I can’t tell if that’s right.
P5-6 = I must be brave now and continue my way. The first house I pass, is where the werewolves stay.
P7-8 = Werewolves can be mean, hairy and loud. They’re rude and smelly, or so I heard from a crowd.
P9-10 = “HEY!” a werewolf yells that stops me in my stride. “What are you doing out there? Come join the party inside!”
P11-12 = I enter to find three werewolves in a dance. Two singing karaoke and one in a robot stance.
P13-14= We danced and we boogied, we howled and we sang. Safe to say, this party went off with a bang.
P15-16 = I said my goodbye and exited the party. I am then passing the vampire house, is it somewhere I visit? hardly.
P17-18 = Vampires can be sneaky and have a knack for biting. They like to drink blood, but I only ever saw that in writing.
P19-20 = “Greetings!” a vampire states that draws my walk to a close. “Would you care to join us for dinner? We’re having a delightful roast!”
P21-22 = I sit at the table with smiling vampires, their full plates being  their fourth. Plates full of roast beef and veg, but no garlic of course.
P23-24 = I thank them for the meal and leave with a happy stomach. The last house has zombies, something that causes my smile to plummet.
P25-26 = Zombies can be slow and rotting, they smell like discarded litter. They even eat brains, but the man who told me was very mean and bitter.
P27-28 = “Excuse me?” asks a zombie that makes me pause once more. “Could you please help pick me and my friends up? We’re all scattered on my garden floor!”
P29-30 = I gave them a hand, then an arm, then a leg. Two more torsos then lastly the head.
P31-32 = They were put back together, everything in the right place. They thanked me then I said goodbye with a smile on my face.
P33-34 = It was then that I realised that what I learned was wrong. These monsters weren't scary, they were sweet all along.
P35-36 = They weren't mean, they weren't smelly. Not frightful or rude. As a matter of fact, I do say that humans need to change their attitude.
P37-38 = And now with my home coming into view, I look to you with a smile. Won't you join me for a trip down monster lane? Wouldn't you care to stay for a while?
